This summer, thanks to the grant from the HCHEC, we will be able to support seven high school students to conduct research on the campus of CCU. Each high school student will work closely with a faculty mentor and an undergraduate student and do paid research. In the past these students have published their work and presented at conferences. Details on the faculty mentors taking part in this program can be found on this website.

Requirements for the high school SCoRE program

• Must be a high school student and over 16 years old
• Must be a high school student in the Horry county schools
• Must be able to work in the United States of America
• Must fill out an application, apply, and attend an interview
• Must be able to get to yourself to campus everyday
• Must be able to make it to work every day of the research program
